Job summary

Jump Trading Group seeks an ASIC Verification Engineer to join Core Development. You will translate requirements into verification strategies and collaborate with design, architecture, and software to validate silicon.

You’ll own verification environments from planning to sign-off, build scalable testbenches, and drive coverage and regression results to ensure robust silicon for complex ASIC/SoC projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of design verification experience on ASIC/SoC projects.
• Experience creating verification plans and test benches.
• Strong SystemVerilog and Python skills; C/C++ proficiency.
• Solid understanding of digital design principles and hardware behavior.
• Experience debugging complex hardware/software failures.
• Ability to translate evolving requirements into testable specs.
• Collaborative, accountable, and clear communicator.
• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics.

Responsibilities

• Own verification environments from planning through sign-off.
• Build scalable verification environments and testbenches, references, and scoreboards.
• Drive verification closure using coverage, regression results, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate across architecture, RTL, software, and infra to isolate root causes.
• Make sound engineering trade-offs to balance depth and delivery timelines.
• Improve productivity with automation, CI, and regression tooling.
• Contribute verification perspective to architecture and design reviews.
