Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chief Aseptic Services Technician to lead the CIVAS and Parenteral Nutrition (PN) services. You will report to the accountable pharmacist and drive operational leadership for the aseptic services team, ensuring safe, compliant preparation and supply of high‑risk injectables and outsourced nutrition.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in aseptic services or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QAAPS, GMP and NHS guidance.
• Experience delivering aseptic clinical trials or related projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the CIVAS & PN aseptic service to ensure safe, compliant preparation and supply of high‑risk injectables and PN.
• Lead the aseptic technical workforce including recruitment, training, competency assessment and performance management.
• Ensure Pharmaceutical Quality System compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee QA activities, audits, investigations, CAPA and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and policies supporting regulatory excellence and best practice.
• Support strategic projects, service expansion and clinical trials delivery.
