Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) seeks a Chief Technician for Aseptic Services, Education and Training to lead our CIVAS and Parenteral Nutrition (PN) service. You will drive technical operations, quality systems and workforce development across sites within the Trust.

You will lead education programmes, apprentices and trainees, promote GMP compliance, and develop a high-performing aseptic production team committed to patient safety and innovation.

Qualifications

• Significant aseptic manufacturing experience.
• Strong people management skills.
• Experience leading education and training programs.
• Knowledge of GMP and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Aseptic Production Service (PN/CIVAS, Cytos, ATMPS) across sites.
• Develop technical staff, apprentices and trainees.
• Drive quality systems, change control and validation.
• Oversee education and training and ensure professional development.
