Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Basildon/Broomfield, Chelmsford, is seeking a Pharmacy Technical Services professional to join our aseptic unit. You will help provide aseptically dispensed products, including chemotherapy and IV additives, maintaining strict procedures and safety standards.

You may supervise staff in the absence of the team leader and contribute to quality, audits and training. NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or SMT qualification is required, with GMP knowledge and

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or SMT qualification or equivalent.
• GPhC registration or in process of completing SMT.
• Experience in aseptic environment post qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate chemotherapy supply to the day unit to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide information to nurses and doctors on patient doses and treatments.
• Participate in GMP training and staff education sessions.
• Assist in maintenance of documentation systems and SOP updates.
• Manage day-to-day activities in absence of the unit lead technician.
