Job summary

Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Preparative Services on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join the Aseptic Services team, handling aseptic manufacture, dispensing, and checking of complex preparations including parenteral therapies, under GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• NVQ/Equivalent and GPhC registration are required.
• CPD evidence and aseptic services validation are expected.
• PIP-C qualification and experience with aseptic unit are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train pharmacy staff while maintaining GMP standards.
• Undertake aseptic manufacturing and preparation under sterile conditions.
• Prepare documentation for aseptic processing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Address queries and complex issues from hospital staff and patients.
• Aim for ACT final accuracy checking within Aseptic Services and pursue PIP-C if needed.
• Manage stock to ensure continuity of aseptic supplies.
