Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Pharmacy Support Worker to assist safe dispensing of oral cytotoxic medicines and outsourced pre-prepared meds using the JAC system. You will work under supervision to ensure accuracy, receive deliveries, and report discrepancies promptly.

Working alongside registered pharmacists, you will adhere to SOPs, GMP, COSHH and Trust policies, contributing to high standards of patient care and professional practice within the GPhC framework.

Qualifications

• Provide safe and accurate aseptic pharmacy support
• Assist in stock management, receipt and storage
• Adhere to SOPs, GMP, COSHH and Trust policies

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and aseptic preparations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Assist with receiving and checking outsourced medicines and deliveries
• Support environmental monitoring and QA/QC activities in aseptic unit
• Participate in departmental rotas and mandatory training
• Provide flexible support across pharmacy services to maintain patient care continuity
