Aspire People Limited is seeking caring SEN Learning Support Assistants to join ASD-focused schools across South East London. You will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with autism and other learning needs.

You will assist teachers with personalised plans, adapt resources, and help pupils develop communication, social, and emotional skills using structured strategies. An enhanced DBS is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally ASD.
• Understanding of autism and communication challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a SEN team.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD and related needs.
• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and adapting resources.
• Support pupils in developing communication, social, and emotional skills.
• Encourage independence and engagement through structured strategies.
• Contribute to IEPs and collaborate with SENCOs and therapists.
• Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
