Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover Glasgow and the surrounding region. The role combines surveying and analytical duties across commercial, domestic, and public sector projects, offering a stable workload and strong long-term prospects.

BOHS P402/P403/P404, a full UK driving licence, and dual Surveyor / Analyst experience are essential. The salary is £36,000 with a company vehicle or car allowance, plus generous leave, a pension, and ongoing

Qualifications

BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential)
Full UK driving licence
Experience working as a dual Surveyor / Analyst
Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance
Professional, organised, and reliable
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
Undertaking air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification
Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring correct procedures are followed
Producing accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248
Managing workload across multiple sites
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
