Job summary

Future Select Recruitment seeks an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a UKAS-accredited consultancy. The role covers surveys across Central Scotland, with travel within the region. You will manage sampling, reporting, and client communications, ensuring compliance with HSG guidelines.

The candidate should be signed off for all asbestos survey types and analytical duties, with a willingness to travel and deliver high-quality technical reports.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents.
• Good understanding of UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248.
• Able to articulate technical matters to clients.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficient using IT software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Perform re-inspection surveys.
• Collect ACM samples from site.
• Carry out 4 stage clearances.
• Full air monitoring including background, re-occupation, personal, smoke and leak.
• Ensure removals projects meet industry guidelines.
• Collate findings to produce detailed technical reports.
• Create schematic drawings.
• Provide regular updates and technical reports to clients.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Motherwell, Central Scotland

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £42k + Training & Benefits

A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for a knowledgeable and switched on Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. They have a busy presence across the Central Belt of Scotland, and require someone who is well placed to travel across the region. Applicants must be fully signed off for all asbestos survey types and analytical duties, as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Experience / Qualifications

• Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
