Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is working with a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst for a Bristol-based position. The role covers surveying and analytical duties across diverse client sites, ensuring compliance with HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a UKAS-accredited consultancy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of properties.
• Managing workload efficiently across multiple client sites.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
