Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a major facilities management and maintenance contractor in the UK for an Asbestos Surveyor. The role involves delivering planned and reactive FM maintenance services, including sampling, reinspections and surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.

You will produce survey reports, liaise with clients and internal teams, and uphold high standards of quality while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
• Full UK driving licence (driving requirement).
• Committed to delivering high standards while maintaining a healthy work–life balance.

Responsabilités

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited laboratories approved by the company.
• Complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support where required.
• Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality team, Contracts team, Project Managers, Supervisors and clients as required, while setting a personal example and promoting the company in a professional manner at all times.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Asbestos Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Asbestos Surveyor you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Asbestos Surveyor will be responsible for:

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures
