Our client has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor. They are looking for a full-time Asbestos Surveyor based in the Hampshire or the Devon/Cornwall areas.

The candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working hard to meet and exceed client expectations in delivering a first-class service to their expanding client base.

In recent years, they have become one of the leading asbestos consultancies in the South of the UK, delivering high standards of asbestos consultancy work to Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Government, NHS, Construction Companies, and other sectors.

This position offers the chance to work on various sites across the Southwest of the UK.

The role is technical, physical, and hands-on.

They seek an ambitious individual eager to progress in the industry by developing new and existing skills through their in-house career development programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Undertake all types of asbestos surveys in Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial properties and sites.
2. Collect site data using industry-leading Teams software system.
3. Maintain a strong understanding of industry-specific legislation.
4. Represent the company professionally in client-facing situations.
5. Provide technical advice and answer queries confidently, offering specialist consultancy when needed.

Essential Requirements

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of the building trade/construction industry.
• Proficiency with tablet-based applications such as Teams software or similar.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Enjoy networking and meeting new people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desired Requirements

• Experience working for a UKAS accredited company.
• Health & Safety qualifications such as PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space Awareness, First Aid at Work, etc.

Salary will be competitive and dependent on skills and experience.
