Job summary

J3a Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover Coventry and surrounding areas. You will carry out a range of asbestos surveys across varied properties, gathering accurate information, taking samples and producing clear survey reports in line with current legislation and industry standards.

The role requires BOHS P402 or equivalent, strong report-writing skills, and a Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
• Collect asbestos samples safely and accurately.
• Record detailed site information and survey findings.
• Produce clear and accurate survey reports.
• Work across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
• Ensure all work complies with HSG264 guidance.
• Follow company procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and site contacts.
• Support trainee surveyors when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical quality.

Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy delivering surveying, analytical and compliance services across domestic, commercial, industrial and public‑sector environments.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover Coventry and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out a range of asbestos surveys across a varied portfolio of properties and sites.

You will be responsible for gathering accurate information, taking samples and producing clear, detailed survey reports in line with current legislation and industry standards.

The Asbestos Surveyor will work independently while building positive relationships with clients, site teams and other stakeholders.
