Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Asbestos Removals Operative who can hit the ground running. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and hold current industry certificates; CSCS and ADR/Towing are advantageous.

Role involves team-based removal at client sites across the region with varied travel. Our client offers competitive day rates (£140–£200) plus training and benefits, with opportunities to work across South East locations including Ilford

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Removals Operative.
• Current Asbestos Operative Training Certificate.
• CSCS card is preferred.
• ADR and towing license are advantages.
• Robust health and safety knowledge.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove asbestos materials from client premises as part of a team.
• Maintain and decontaminate equipment and tools.
• Set up safety barriers and enclosures and ensure PPE is worn.
• Work to set deadlines and project scopes.
• Travel to client sites in line with client needs.
• Work across projects of varying size and nature.

Job Title: Asbestos Removals Operative

Location: Ilford, Greater London

Salary/Benefits: £140 - £200 Day Rate + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Removals Operative who can hit the ground running. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and will have up-to-date industry certificates / tickets. Ideally, you will be based with good access to the M25 for easier travel to client sites across the region. Our client is a respected name within the industry, who have a strong presence across the South East of England. Ideally, you will be a strong communicator who is confident working within teams. They are offering competitive day rates, in addition to comprehensive benefits packages.

Locations of work include: Ilford, Barking, Romford, Hornchurch, Potters Bar, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Epping, Enfield, Billericay, Basildon, Wickford, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Grays, Tilbury, Chelmsford, South Woodham Ferrers, Southend-on-Sea, Epping, Harlow, Cheshunt, Sidcup, Dartford, Erith, Gravesend, Orpington, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Croydon.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Removals Operative
• Will hold a current Asbestos Operative Training Certificate
• Proven training history within the industry
• Ideally will hold a CSCS card
• It would be an advantage to have a Towing license and ADR
• Robust health and safety guideline knowledge
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role

• Working within teams to safely remove asbestos materials from client premises
• Maintaining equipment and tools and decontaminating correctly
• Implementing safety barriers and enclosures
• Working to set deadlines and project scopes
• Adhering to safety guidelines and wearing correct PPE at all times
• Travelling in line with client needs
• Working across projects of varying size and nature
