Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an Asbestos Removal Operative for demolition projects in the Oxfordshire area. The candidate should hold a Current Licensed Asbestos Operative certification and have demolition experience. You will perform on-site asbestos removal, assist trades, and uphold H&S standards while working in confined spaces.

Applicants with PASMA and IPAF Scissor & Boom licenses are preferred. This is a permanent, on-site role requiring physical work and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Current Licensed Asbestos Operative certification.
• Experience in non-licensed asbestos removal work is beneficial.
• PASMA training to safely install and inspect a mobile tower.
• IPAF Scissor & Boom certificate required.
• Able to work in restricted spaces and wear full-face respirator equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos removal duties on demolition sites.
• Assist trades on site and maintain H&S compliance.
• Work safely and as part of a team in all operations.
• Report any hazards and ensure proper use of PPE.

Job description

Asbestos Removal Operative required to join demolition contractor for projects covering the Oxfordshire area.

The Asbestos Removal Operative will ideally have a Current Licensed Asbestos Operative certification and come from a demolition background / experience.

Asbestos Removal Operative duties to include but not limited to:

• Some knowledge of H&S requirements and responsibilities;
• working safely is important to you
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to undertake a physical role, sometimes in restricted spaces like lofts and ducts
• and wear full face RPE, assisting trades on site and any other associated tasks

Asbestos Removal Operative will have Current Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative certification, Experience in non-licensed asbestos removal work, PASMA training to safely install and inspect a mobile tower and IPAF Scissor & Boom certificate.

Asbestos Removal Operative is required on a permanent basis.
