Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an Asbestos Removal Operative to join a demolition project team covering the Oxfordshire area. The role requires a current licensed asbestos operative certificate and demolition site experience.

You will work on-site with other trades, perform physically demanding tasks, and adhere to strict health and safety requirements, including wearing full-face RPE. Vetting includes PASMA and IPAF Scissor/Boom qualifications; this is a permanent, full-time position on site.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Current Licensed Asbestos Operative certificate
• Demolition background or related site experience preferred
• Solid understanding of health & safety on construction sites
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Work on demolition sites in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas
• Assist trades on site and perform duties as required
• Operate in restricted spaces such as lofts and ducts and wear full-face RPE
• Maintain high attention to detail and comply with safety standards

Job description

Asbestos Removal Operative required to join demolition contractor for projects covering the Oxfordshire area.

The Asbestos Removal Operative will ideally have a Current Licensed Asbestos Operative certification and come from a demolition background / experience.

Asbestos Removal Operative duties to include but not limited to:

• Some knowledge of H&S requirements and responsibilities;
• working safely is important to you
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to undertake a physical role, sometimes in restricted spaces like lofts and ducts
• and wear full face RPE, assisting trades on site and any other associated tasks

Asbestos Removal Operative will have Current Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative certification, Experience in non-licensed asbestos removal work, PASMA training to safely install and inspect a mobile tower and IPAF Scissor & Boom certificate.

Asbestos Removal Operative is required on a permanent basis.
