Job summary

Panoramic Associates is recruiting an Interim Asbestos Quality Control Officer to enhance the quality and integrity of asbestos survey and analytical reports in Hampshire. Hybrid work pattern requires initial site attendance with growing remote oversight and QA responsibilities.

You will review technical documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide constructive feedback to surveyors and analysts to prevent misinterpretation or errors that could affect residents and buildings.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 and P405 qualifications, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in asbestos surveying, analysis, or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and relevant HSE guidance.
• Experience reviewing technical asbestos documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to surveyors and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Review asbestos survey and analytical reports for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to surveyors and analysts.
• Review documentation against HSE guidance and asbestos legislation.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve reporting and QA processes.
• Communicate findings effectively with experienced asbestos professionals and challenge work where necessary.
