Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited seeks an Asbestos Surveyor to lead and manage projects from planning through to sign-off in Edinburgh. The role is based in a well-established asbestos and water hygiene environment, offering training and progression in a hybrid setup.

Candidate must have P402, P403, P404 and P405 qualifications, be commutable to Edinburgh with a UK driving license, and bring proven surveyor experience to drive projects and teams forward.

Qualifications

• Must have P402, P403, P404 and P405 qualifications.
• Experience in designing scope of works, budget planning and asbestos management.
• Commutable to Edinburgh with full UK driving license.
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor or similar background.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage asbestos surveys from planning to sign-off.
• Carry out risk assessments and review contracts to meet deadlines.
• Plan surveys in accordance with CAR (2012).

Asbestos Surveyor (Project Management)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Company Vehicle + Hybrid

Are you an Asbestos Surveyor, who wants to lead and manage projects for one of Scotland's leading companies for the last 20 years in the Asbestos and Water Hygiene industry where you will be in a Monday - Friday days-based role where you can greatly increase your earnings through overtime and paid travel time?

In this role you will be based in Edinburgh. You will be involved with site scoping, planning work, as well as providing advanced support with the management team in maintaining compliance with standards.

This role would suit an Asbestos Surveyor who wants to move into leading and managing teams to carry out projects and surveys.

The Role:

• Make sure quotations are met and carry out risk assessments
• Review and issue contracts in which meet deadlines
• Planning surveys in accordance with CAR (2012)
• Be responsible for Asbestos projects from initiation to sign off

The Person

• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor or similar background
• Experience with designing the scope of works, budget planning and Asbestos management
• Must have P402, P403, P404, P405 qualifications and Auto CAD preferrable.
• Commutable to Edinburgh with full UK driving license
