Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join their Glasgow team. This dual-qualified role offers a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties across Glasgow and the Central Belt.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential).
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst.
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248 and current asbestos legislation.
• Experience working in a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Undertaking air monitoring and four-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248
• Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, and personal air testing
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
• Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector sites
• Managing your own diary and workload effectively
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

The Role

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

About You

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)

• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst

• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation

• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable

• Confident managing a field-based workload independently

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
