Job summary
Asbestos Lab Analyst position in Southampton requires hands-on testing of asbestos samples using PLM and stereomicroscopy, with strict safety and QA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Conduct bulk analysis of asbestos samples using PLM and stereomicroscopy.
- Log and store samples safely.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and arrange repairs/servicing.
- Upload results onto the company database.
- Create and issue analysis certificates for clients.
- Participate in quality assurance checks.
- Work to deadlines and targets.
- Uphold high service standards.

Our client is a medium-sized Asbestos specialist outfit, who provide surveying and analytical services to domestic and commercial clients. They are seeking a switched-on and thorough Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their successful team. Applicants must hold the BOHS P401 as a minimum, and will be well-versed in technical guidelines. You must be based within a commutable distance to the laboratory, and will be confident working both within teams and independently.
