Job summary

Asbestos Lab Analyst position in Southampton requires hands-on testing of asbestos samples using PLM and stereomicroscopy, with strict safety and QA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an Asbestos Lab Analyst.
• BOHS P401 certification is essential.
• Understanding of UKAS and HSG legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bulk analysis of asbestos samples using PLM and stereomicroscopy.
• Log and store samples safely.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and arrange repairs/servicing.
• Upload results onto the company database.
• Create and issue analysis certificates for clients.
• Participate in quality assurance checks.
• Work to deadlines and targets.
• Uphold high service standards.
