Job summary

Kingdom People is recruiting an Asbestos Analyst in Gravesend, Kent, covering London and the South East. The role includes air monitoring, surveys, sampling and reporting with a salary of £38-42,000 per annum depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will hold BOHS P402/P403/P404 (or equivalent) and have experience in UKAS/ISO-accredited environments, with strong knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402/P403/P404 (or equivalent) qualification required or equivalent.
• Experience in asbestos analysis and understanding of UK asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, health & safety and quality standards.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to use electronic reporting systems.

Asbestos Analyst

Gravesend, Kent | Covering London and the South East

£38-42,000 per annum depending on experience

An established and growing environmental consultancy is looking for an experienced Asbestos Analystto join their team.

Working across London and the surrounding areas, you’ll carry out a varied range of asbestos-related work, including:

• Air monitoring and 4SCs
• Asbestos management surveys
• Refurbishment & demolition surveys
• Bulk sampling and analysis
• Accurate reporting and client documentation

About you

We’re looking for someone with relevant industry qualifications, such as BOHS P402, P403 and/or P404, or equivalent. You’ll ideally have previous experience in asbestos analysis, with a strong understanding of UK asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, health & safety and quality standards.

You’ll also need:

• A valid UK driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good IT skills and confidence using electronic reporting systems
• A professional approach to clients and site work

Experience working within UKAS/ISO-accredited environments would be advantageous.
