Job summary

Teach Plus Limited is recruiting Teaching Assistants for flexible, ad-hoc opportunities at a welcoming primary school in Westminster. Roles start ASAP and include 1:1 and small-group SEND support within a nurturing learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have UK classroom experience, be DBS-checked (Update Service) and ready to contribute to inclusive education with patience and initiative in a busy primary setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Minimum of 3 months UK experience working in a school setting.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND through tailored one-to-one assistance and small-group interventions.
• Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour, encourage participation and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Help pupils develop their communication, social, emotional and academic skills.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to implement individual learning strategies.
• Adapt to different classroom settings and provide flexible support in response to the school's daily requirements.
