Job summary

Loch Arthur Camphill Community is seeking a full-time Bakery Co-Leader to run daily production in our artisan bakery, supplying the farm shop and shared households.

You will lead the bakery team, work with adults with learning disabilities, plan the day, maintain quality and hygiene, supervise volunteers, and assist with equipment upkeep. This role requires PVG clearance and offers training in all aspects of the work; a passion for good, handmade food and inclusive practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with additional support needs preferred.
• Training provided in all aspects of the work.
• PVG clearance required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the Bakery.
• Support and supervise volunteers.
• Lead daily production and plan the bakery for the working day.
• Ensure product quality and hygiene.
• Maintain equipment and oversee maintenance.
• Be aware of individual support needs and respond appropriately.
