Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced Artisan Baker to join a busy craft bakery team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will have hands-on sourdough bread production, pastry shaping and laminated doughs, with a solid understanding of the full bake process from preparation through to baking.

Key responsibilities include preparing, shaping and baking sourdough breads and artisan pastries, handling high-hydration doughs, producing laminated pastries, and managing oven

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Artisan Baker.
• Strong sourdough fermentation and bread-shaping skills.
• Experience with pastry and laminated dough production.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and comfortable with early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, shape and bake sourdough breads and artisan pastries.
• Work confidently with high-hydration doughs and long fermentation processes.
• Produce high-quality laminated pastries and viennoiserie.
• Manage oven temperatures and baking cycles to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
