Understanding Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing UK AI company to recruit an AI Engineer who bridges research and engineering, turning ideas into robust production systems.

You will take new ML models from research into production, work across traditional ML, deep learning, transformers, and Generative AI, and collaborate with researchers, academics, product and engineering teams to shape technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience deploying ML into production.
• Solid knowledge of traditional ML techniques.
• Understanding of deep learning and transformers.
• Exposure to Generative AI.
• Statistical knowledge and interest in causal modelling.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD.
• MSc or PhD is beneficial, but not essential.

Responsibilities
