Job summary

Arcus Search partners with a leading global financial services group to build a new GenAI team. You will develop LLM applications to search, summarize and interpret large document volumes, and design retrieval pipelines using embeddings and vector search.

The role spans agent-based workflows, prompts with Anthropic and OpenAI models, and deploying Python services on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run). It also involves evaluation, monitoring and cost controls in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience building GenAI applications in production environments.
• Strong Python, GCP and production GenAI experience is highly relevant.
• Experience in regulated or customer-facing industries is a plus.

Job description

I'm working with a highly technical organisation, a leading global financial services group, that is building a brand new AI team to put Generative AI into real use across the business.

What you'll be working on:

• Building LLM applications that search, summarise and make sense of large volumes of documents
• Developing retrieval pipelines using embeddings and vector search
• Creating agent based workflows and prompt systems with leading models from Anthropic and OpenAI
• Deploying Python services on Google Cloud, mainly Vertex AI, BigQuery and Cloud Run
• Putting evaluation, monitoring and cost tracking in place so you know how your AI performs once live
• Building in the controls needed to handle customer data responsibly in a regulated environment
