Job summary

Kepier seeks a Technician to join the Art and Technology Department. The role supports workshop operations, safety checks and maintenance on machines, and preparation of lesson materials using CAD/CAM tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers and kilns.

The successful candidate will help manage equipment and assist in daily operations in a busy school workshop. We value enthusiasm, adaptability, and reliability, with safeguarding of students a priority.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, outgoing and adaptable individual.
• Experience with workshop safety and maintenance checks.
• Ability to prepare materials and resources for lessons using CAD/CAM tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety and maintenance checks on workshop machines.
• Prepare materials and resources for lessons; operate CAD/CAM tools as needed.
• Order materials and set out equipment for classes.
• Assist in daily management of equipment, tools and repairs.
