Kepier is seeking an Art and Technology Technician to support the Art and Technology Department in a school setting. The role is 37 hours per week, permanent, term time (38 weeks) plus one week, with NJC scale £25,614–£26,016 (pro-rata £22,659–£23,014).
The technician will perform safety checks on machines, prepare lesson materials, and assist with CAD/CAM tools, laser cutting, 3D printing and kiln use, plus general equipment management.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join the Art and Technology Department at Kepier. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, outgoing and adaptable individual who has the ability to succeed in the above role.
Your role will support the Art and Technology department. Duties will include, but are but are not limited to, safety and maintenance checks on all the machines in the workshop, preparation of material and resources for lessons as required (some of which would require using CAD/CAM software, including using the laser cutter, 3D printer and Kiln), ordering materials, setting out equipment and assistance in the daily management of equipment, tools and their general repairs.
