Job summary

Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in NW2 that is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Art Technician to join their team as soon as possible. We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience working as an Art or Design Technician within a school environment, who can support the smooth running of the Art and Design department.

This is initially a temporary position with the potential to become permanent in December 2026 for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as an Art or Design Technician within a school
• Good knowledge of art materials, equipment and processes
• Experience preparing and maintaining resources for Art lessons
• Ability to support teachers and students within an Art and Design department
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the Art and Design department
• Prepare and maintain resources for Art lessons
• Assist teachers and students with project setup and cleanup
• Ensure art materials and equipment are well organised and safe
