Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to facilitate effective teaching, learning, assessment and enrichment opportunities across the subject/faculty.
• Organise and prepare materials, resources and equipment for use in lessons.
• Support teachers and students in lessons as appropriate.
• Maintain an organised, safe and welcoming learning environment within the faculty.
• Manage resources, including ordering, issuing and distributing stock.
• Maintain and repair materials and equipment as required.
• Assist with risk assessments and work with leaders to ensure risks are managed effectively.
• Carry out routine administrative tasks as required.
• Support with Parents’ Evenings, Open Evenings and other school events, as required.
• Assist with management of faculty/subject display and maintain positive student relationships.
• Attend meetings, training and contribute to CPD opportunities and adhere to academy policies.
• Report safeguarding concerns to a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the Headteacher.
