About the Role

Our client is looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a secondary school in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about visual arts and wants to help students develop their artistic skills, confidence and ability to express ideas through a range of media.

The successful Art Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across the relevant key stages, introducing students to a variety of artistic techniques, materials, processes and influences. They will encourage students to explore different approaches to drawing, painting, mixed media, three-dimensional work and visual research, depending on the curriculum and facilities available.

The school is seeking a teacher who can balance structured skill development with opportunities for experimentation and independent creativity. The successful candidate will also support students in developing sketchbooks, researching relevant artists and refining ideas from initial concepts through to final pieces.
