Job Summary: The Art Teacher will be responsible for teaching fine arts subjects to students at various levels, preparing them for GCSEs and A-Levels, and fostering a deep understanding of art principles and discoveries.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and can thrive.
• Maintain a motivating and interactive classroom environment.
• Participate in and organize art activities and projects.
• Utilise ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and advance in the education career.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent specialized in Art.
• Experience in teaching Art is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment methods.
• Passion for art and education.
• Be enthusiastic and adaptable.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
