Are you a versatile and dedicated Art & Design Teacher ready to make a significant impact on the education of students in Sunderland ? Our schools are seeking adaptable Qualified Art & Design Teachers to join our team and provide high-quality education to students in a range of subjects and age groups.

Position Overview:
As a Fully Qualified Art & Design Teacher in Sunderland , you will play a pivotal role in educating and inspiring students. Your adaptability and dedication to fostering students' academic growth are essential in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Instructor: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and create an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Versatility: Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Evaluating: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress.
  • Engagement: Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
  • Adaptability: Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in ART/DESIGN or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching students.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and key stage expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for creating a positive and dynamic learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us)
  • A fully checkable work history
  • Must have a driving license.
  • Preferably should have business insurance and be committed for long term.
  • Candidate must be in good mental and physical health and also must be a resilient and reliable individual.
  • Must be able to work with vulnerable and challenging pupils in a school environment.
