Job summary

Upsilon Gallery in London is seeking an ambitious Sales Associate to drive sales across exhibitions, art fairs and represented artists. You will develop new business, build relationships with collectors and provide tailored recommendations.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, organizing client meetings, and maintaining CRM records while collaborating with the team on the gallery program. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities in a dynamic international gallery

Qualifications

• Previous sales or business development experience within Contemporary Art, the Luxury Market or other high-end client-facing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Able to provide a high level of service to collectors and clients.
• Strong interest in contemporary art.
• Flexibility to work additional hours for exhibitions, gallery events and other occasions as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales across the gallery's program, including exhibitions, art fairs and represented artists.
• Develop new business opportunities across the gallery's wider commercial program.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective collectors and clients.
• Proactively develop new clients and sales opportunities through networking and outreach.
• Arrange and conduct client meetings, gallery visits and private viewings.
• Maintain accurate client and sales records within the gallery CRM.
• Meet and exceed individual sales and business development targets.

BA or MA in Art History or related field
