MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Drive sales across the gallery's program, including exhibitions, art fairs and represented artistsDevelop new business opportunities across the gallery's wider commercial program and initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective collectors and clientsProactively develop new clients and sales opportunities through networking, outreach and relationship buildingManage and follow up client enquiries, leads and ongoing sales opportunitiesDevelop a strong understanding of clients’ interests and provide tailored recommendations and proposalsArrange and conduct client meetings, gallery visits and private viewingsMaintain a strong knowledge of the gallery’s artists, exhibitions and available works, as well as the wider art marketMaintain accurate client and sales records within the gallery CRMPrepare relevant sales and client documentation as requiredWork collaboratively with the wider gallery team to support the gallery’s program and commercial objectivesMeet and exceed individual sales and business development targets

REQUIREMENTSPrevious sales or business development experience within Contemporary Art, the Luxury Market or other high-end client-facing environmentStrong interpersonal, communication and organization skillsAble to provide a high level of service to collectors and clientsStrong interest in contemporary artFlexibility to work additional hours for exhibitions, gallery events and other occasions as required
DESIRABLEBA or MA in Art History or a related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems (Artlogic or similar)Additional language skillsExperience working across multiple gallery locations
