Our client is a global production agency fusing curiosity, culture and innovative creativity working across brand, entertainment, art, film, fashion and private clients to deliver outstanding experiences. We are seeking an Art Director who lives and breathes culture, and who brings a rigorous visual intelligence to every project. This is a role for someone who thinks in concepts and who can translate a brief into a visual world, then seeing that world all the way through to execution. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of live events and brand experiences, collaborating closely with producers, strategists, and a wider creative team.

About You:
  • 4–6+ years’ experience as an Art Director, ideally within a creative agency, production company, or in-house brand team working across events or experiential
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong, confident creative point of view, culturally informed and aesthetically distinctive
  • Equally comfortable at the conceptual stage and in the thick of production, solving problems under pressure with calm and resourcefulness
  • A genuine understanding of how environments, light, and material translate creative intent into lived experience
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the confidence to articulate and defend design decisions to clients and stakeholders
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Curious, culturally aware, and passionate about craft, innovation, and visual storytelling
  • Proactive, reliable, and takes pride in delivering polished, production-ready work
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creative direction of projects from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring the visual vision is realised at every stage
  • Develop comprehensive visual identities - encompassing typography, colour, spatial design and direction - that hold together across every touchpoint of an experience
  • Translate strategic briefs into original, compelling creative concepts and present these clearly and confidently to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with production and technical teams to ensure creative vision is realised in physical and digital environments
  • Create mood boards, visual references, and concept layouts that clearly communicate ideas and set a high creative standard
  • Contribute to new business pitches, helping to shape compelling responses that reflect creative ambitions
  • Mentor junior creatives and contribute to the broader creative culture of the studio
  • Manage multiple creative work streams simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines across all projects
  • Maintain organised files, templates, and visual assets across all active projects
