Job summary

Academics Ltd in Cannock is seeking an Art & Design Teacher to work in local secondary schools. You will deliver engaging, skill-based art lessons for KS3 and KS4, ages 11-16, in a supportive and creative classroom environment.

The role offers daily, short-term cover with competitive pay (£150-£200 per day) and opportunities to develop your practice across different schools. A QTS or equivalent is required, along with DBS on Update Service and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• The right to work in the UK.
