Join a dedicated and supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Knowsley, committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for students who require additional support. Position: Art and Food Technology Teacher Key Details: Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Start Date: September Location: Knowsley, with on-site parking and excellent public transport links DBS: Enhanced DBS required Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Art and Food Technology lessons to students with diverse learning needs. Use innovative teaching methods and up-to-date technologies to support and engage students. Manage student behavior effectively, using positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing tailored feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Art and Food Technology curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in school activities and events, contributing to the overall development of the school community. Requirements: A degree in Art, Food Technology, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with students who require additional support is desirable. Strong behavior management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and engage students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
