Job Description:

We are seeking an Art and Design Technology Technician to support secondary schools across Northamptonshire, including areas like Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, and Northampton. This is a temporary, ongoing role with a daily rate of £100 to £110, depending on the school.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the preparation and organization of materials and tools for Art and DT lessons
• Maintaining and managing art and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
• Assisting in setting up displays of students' work
• Supporting teachers and students during practical lessons
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies when needed
• Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed in all practical areas

Candidate requirements:

• Practical knowledge of Art and/or Design Technology tools and materials
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Previous experience or background in art, design, or a technical field is desirable
• A positive attitude and genuine interest in education and creativity
