Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited in Chichester is seeking an enthusiastic Arts and Design Lecturer to inspire the next generation of artists and designers. You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching, supporting students in developing creative practice, technical skills, critical thinking, and professional portfolios.

The role is part-time (21 hours per week) with a start date ASAP and a pay rate up to £43 per hour.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Art, Design, or a related discipline.
• Relevant teaching or training experience, preferably within further or higher education.
• A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Arts and Design programmes.
• Develop engaging projects and learning materials that encourage creativity and independent thinking.
• Support students in developing artistic and technical skills across relevant disciplines.
• Provide constructive feedback and effective assessment to help students achieve their potential.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to course planning and quality assurance.
• Support students with portfolio development and progression into higher education, employment, or creative industries.
• Keep up to date with developments, technologies, and professional practices within the Arts and Design sector.
• Contribute positively to the wider curriculum team and department activities.
