Job summary

Kelsall Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our supportive primary care team on a fixed-term salaried ARRS-funded contract. The role supports four sessions per week (Mon, Thu, Fri) and offers opportunities for development within a well-established practice.

The post emphasizes patient-centred care, safe prescribing, and collaborative working with the Rural Alliance PCN. A strong GMC registration and ARRS eligibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-based care for a registered patient population.
• Undertake face-to-face, telephone and video consultations as appropriate.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment and management plans.
• Arrange investigations and interpret results; refer to secondary care when needed.
• Prescribe safely and cost-effectively following guidelines.
