A government agency is seeking an Operational Clothing Storekeeper to manage and control operational clothing and equipment. The role involves physically handling inventory within a store or warehouse, requiring the ability to lift and carry equipment. The Operational Clothing Storekeeper position is an essential role within the MRTC Quartermasters Department, responsible for the management and control of Operational clothing and equipment.
Please note: This post requires a degree of physical ability as you will be expected to lift and carry equipment, boxes of ancillaries and equipment around the store (also load/offload vehicles), and place/retrieve items and boxes from shelving that may be above head height. In accordance with HSE guidance, the recommended maximum manual handling weight that applicants can expect to lift is men (25kg) and women (16kg).
Please note this role is directly customer facing and involves working within a store / warehouse, so you will be expected to be on site / in the office 5 days a week as this role involves physically issuing / receiving equipment in a store.
