Job summary
The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants! Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around 12,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. Ours is a diverse workforce, with roles ranging from trainers, human resources, teachers, and psychologists to storekeepers, financiers, project and programme managers, and policy secretariat staff. There are many different functions and professions delivering key outputs for the Army.
HQ ARRC (Allied Rapid Reaction Corps) sits within the Field (Fd) Army structure, which is part of the Army and a major part of the MOD.
HQ ARRC provides NATO with a rapidly deployable, flexible HQ that can act as a Joint, Land or Corps HQ for operations and crisis response. Its multi-national ethos, combination of cultures and innovation, strong professional reputation in NATO and proven track record in interoperability are unique among its High Readiness Force (Land) (HRF(L)) peers.

At the time of advertisement this post is deemed to have an enduring requirement and it is not anticipated that this post will be likely to change in the immediate future, however, is in scope of the ongoing review.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job description

You will be responsible for the co-ordination, monitoring and financial planning of all budget and finance issues directly associated with the ARRC. Reporting to the Field Army (Grade 7) Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing ARRC’s multi-million pound in-year budget highlighting the key risks, issues and opportunities for senior management, which will involve presenting complex financial information.
