The Role

In this pivotal role within our Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (GSRA) function, you’ll work closely with the Planning Manager and Head of Operational Science to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of key business and process initiatives.

Your mission? To champion smarter, more efficient ways of working that align with our strategic goals and help us stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Be the backbone of our operations - By providing essential business support to the Operational Science department and the wider GSRA function, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Own the numbers - Manage departmental budgets, track financial performance, and create insightful dashboards and reports that keep stakeholders informed and empowered.
  • Collaborate with purpose - Build strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal teams, working closely with procurement and finance to streamline processes and resolve queries.
  • Drive project success - Partnering with project managers to support budgeting, track progress, and align financials with strategic goals across scientific and business-as-usual initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement - Monitor daily processes, identify opportunities for efficiency, and help align operations with broader business objectives.
  • Be a trusted advisor -Support senior leaders with business planning, deliver ad-hoc projects, and provide training across GSRA, especially in financial systems and tools.
