Job summary

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. You’ll join a highly trained, professional team delivering 24/7 armed response to protect nuclear sites and critical infrastructure, including local community patrolling and collaboration with Home Office forces.

Applicants must hold a full manual driving licence, be a substantive Police Sergeant, and be trained as an Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO) / ARV with their current force.

Qualifications

• Full manual driving licence is required.
• Substantive Police Sergeant status is required.
• Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO) / Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) training current with the officer's force.
