Job summary

TK Elevator GmbH in London is seeking an experienced Area Service & Repair Manager to lead our Service and Repair teams from the London offices. You will be accountable for safe, quality-driven, cost-effective management of field teams and projects.

You will drive sales, manage regional metrics, and ensure effective coordination of engineers and contractors, including audits and site visits, while upholding health and safety standards and TK Elevator values.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Service Maintenance & Repairs desirable.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience in an operational engineering/manufacturing/construction environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximise sales through prospecting new business and reviewing contract renewals.
• Manage operational metrics in line with targets.
• Lead/service and repair teams, with monthly meetings and performance reviews.
• Authorize engineer time sheets, holidays and night rotas.
• Maintain tooling register and audit company assets.
• Champion health & safety regulations and TK Elevator standards.
• Undertake regular site visits.
• Coordinate handovers with NI Projects Managers for installations.
• Oversee lift and escalator-off works.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Area Service & Repair Manager to join our London division based in our London offices, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for directing and supervising their Service and Repair teams and jobs in a safe, quality driven and cost-effective manner.

As an Area Service & Repair Manager, your day to day will include:

• Maximise sales through prospecting new business and dealing with current repeat business customers and review contract renewals
• Manage operational metrics in line with targets
• Management and coordination of the Service and Repair teams, including carrying out monthly meetings, performance reviews, health and safety visits etc
• Authorisation and management of engineer's time sheets, holidays and night call rotas.
• Ensure up-to-date recording of tooling register
• Undertake as required audits of Company assets
• Be a champion for continuous Customer Service and Health & Safety regulations to convey TK Elevator behaviour and commitments
• Undertake regular site visits
• Carry out new installation's handover with NI Projects Managers
• Active management of Lift & Escalators-off works

• NVQ3 in Service Maintenance & Repairs is desirable
• Previous experience in a supervisory role managing a team
• Experience working in an Operational role in an engineering/manufacturing or construction industry.
• Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
