Armeg Ltd are the UK’s leading manufacturer of performance quality power tool drilling accessories since 1973. We focus on quality materials, rigorous quality control, and expertise. We are seeking a Northern Area Sales Manager to drive growth, development, and expansion.

PURPOSE OF JOB

This role involves managing local dealer relationships within a distribution-based sales model. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will secure, manage, develop, and maintain a client portfolio. Experience in Power Tool Accessory and Electrical Wholesale markets is advantageous. The role is ideally based along the M62 corridor with travel across the territory for client meetings, presentations, and participation in exhibitions and trade days. You will help continue our year-on-year sales growth through effective dealer development and expanding distribution for new products and brand awareness.

You will contribute to the sales development of the business, working closely with other commercial functions in a friendly team environment.

Key priorities include building lasting client relationships, championing customer service, and providing trustworthy, innovative solutions.

AREA SALES PRIORITIES

  • Drive business growth through strong client relationships
  • Promote new products via a solution-based sales approach
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and conduct client visits across the area
  • Follow up on leads and enquiries, schedule appointments
  • Attend trade shows and manage event activities
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager on business development
  • Identify opportunities and develop the client base
  • Organize sales events
  • Ensure excellent aftersales service
  • Participate in regional sales meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The role requires engaging, articulate, results-driven professionals with high standards.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Ideally based in Manchester/Leeds area
