Job summary

ADI Global Distribution is seeking a high‑performing Area Sales Manager to retain, grow and win B2B customers across Greater Manchester with additional coverage across Belfast and surrounding areas.

The role is ideal for professionals from Electronic Security, Electrical Wholesale, AV, Fire & CCTV, or closely related sectors and requires proven field sales experience and a full UK driving licence. Expect a competitive base salary, car allowance or company car, and a strong incentive scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales, territory management or B2B account management.
• Experience within electronic security, electrical wholesale, AV, fire, CCTV or trade distribution.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• A proactive, well‑organised approach with the ability to manage your territory autonomously.
• Confidence working in a target‑driven, customer‑facing environment.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across Greater Manchester alongside Belfast.

Responsibilities

• Manage, retain and grow revenue across a defined field sales territory covering Greater Manchester and Belfast.
• Build strong relationships with security installers, systems integrators, electrical contractors and trade partners.
• Act as the trusted advisor and primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Maintain regular face‑to‑face customer visits to drive satisfaction, loyalty and account growth.
• Plan, lead and execute supplier‑led and branch‑supported sales campaigns and convert activity into revenue.
