Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting is seeking an experienced sales professional to cover client bases across London for a leading powered-access equipment provider. You will manage existing accounts and win new business, selling scissor lifts, boom lifts and spider lifts.

The role offers up to £45k base with commission and a company car, plus 24 days holiday. You’ll visit sites, build relationships with industrial clients and contribute to growth in a fast-growing, established company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing client base across London and the surrounding areas.

• Attend sites to win new business and hire out powered access equipment.

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of powered-access machinery seeking an experienced sales professional to cover some of their client bases across London. Dealing with both existing and new clients, the successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, commission and car. This is a great opportunity for an experienced salesperson from within powered access, plant hire, cranes or a closely related industry, looking for their next career move.

Responsibilities

• Managing an existing client base across London and the immediate surrounding areas
• Developing this client base further through the sale of their powered access product range including scissor lifts, boom lifts and spider lifts
• Identify new sales opportunities for these products
• Attending site to win new business and hiring out a variety of powered access equipment
• Dealing with industrial clients for the more specialised access equipment

Requirements

It is essential that you have experience of selling powered access equipment due to the requirements of the role. You must have a proven track record in a sales capacity and be able to provide a consultative sell to customers. Crucially you will be a dynamic individual with the drive and ability to manage existing and open new customer accounts. It is also a requirement that you hold a full UK driver’s license. The company are willing to look at candidates within North London and the immediate surrounding areas as the will be a requirement to go to the office in North London.

Due to recent growth, the company now require a new salesperson to cover their client base across London.
